Out and about on the doorstep in Newington

It's been a busy weekend for us. Throughout the past week we've had volunteers delivering David Green's electoral address leaflet across the whole of Newington ward.  With only 5 months gone by since the by-election in January, residents are called to the polls again on 1st July to vote for a new representative following the resignation of UKIP councillor Mo Leys.

At the office, as with any election, there's plenty to be done and it's always great that people from across the constituency come to help out.  If you want to volunteer to help with this election, get in touch with us or just drop into the office at 28-30 Newington Road, Ramsgate - you'll be sure to get a warm welcome and a hot drink!

Thank goodness the weather held for this morning, at least, as we had a team out on doorsteps letting people know about the by-election and asking them about both local and national issues. The NHS and jobs, unsurprisingly, came up most often.

David, with Cabinet experience in regeneration, knows only too well the real need for more jobs locally and jobs that pay a decent, living wage.

Vote for David Green on 1st July.
