Wooden spoons and Labour leafleters

Labour members have been out and about across the constituency campaigning to 'Remain' in the EU.  With leaflets ready to post, the enthusiastic Labour activist knows that the wooden spoon is his/her friend.  'Posties' are well aware of the dangers of letter boxes and so are seasoned campaigners.

So, to avoid the snapping or stiff letter box, the snapping or 'vicious' dog on the other side or the dangerous stiff bristles of the letter box brush - we all carry a wooden spoon!

Thanet has benefited hugely from money from the EU.  Most recently, it was money from the EU that has helped refurbish and make safe the arches on Military Road in Ramsgate.  Anyone who has witnessed the regeneration of this part of the harbour - now flourishing with cafes, shops and galleries - will see the significant benefits to the town.
