Both Cllr Karen Constantine and Cllr Susan Kennedy are looking forward to campaigning with David Green and Penny Newman in the forthcoming by-election in Newington. 

Karen commented today “David has a wealth of experience and has always worked for job creation, better and more affordable housing for local people and the regeneration of Ramsgate.  I am looking forward to working with him at Thanet District Council.”

Likewise, Susan is hoping for another win for Labour in Newington to boost the number of Labour councillors on Ramsgate Town Council.  “I know that Penny is passionate about the most vulnerable people in our society and, in particular, the disabled.  She will bring a fresh and important perspective to local politics.”

The Newington by-election is on Friday 1st July 2016.
