South Thanet Labour Women’s Big Canvas

What a fantastic day!  The sun shone and a huge crowd of women from across Thanet assembled at the Labour office in Ramsgate to form into teams to go canvassing.  What was particularly impressive was the number of first time canvassers – some a little bit anxious but all ready to give it a go.  With a brief training session they were off.  Lots more photos to follow but just a taster here of one team out and about in Newington.

 With all the canvassing done, everyone returned to base to enjoy the food that everyone had brought and to have a good chat about the session, about the election and about why we’re motivated to build a better future for the many and not just the few.
